Great to meet you!

I’m a clinical mental health counselor with a Master’s degree from Bellevue University. My professional experience includes working in a correctional setting, where I provided therapy to individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges. I specialize in using evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In my work with clients, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered. I take a person-centered approach, meaning I view clients as the experts in their own lives and work alongside them to uncover strengths and foster growth. My style is warm, direct, and integrative—I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.

What you can expect from our first session

I create a calm, respectful environment where clients feel emotionally safe and free to express themselves without fear of judgment. My goal is to help each client build practical skills they can apply in everyday life. Together, we’ll identify goals that are realistic and personally meaningful
