Tracy’s educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Counseling from McDaniel College and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland University College. She has held positions in a residential addiction treatment facility, an inpatient hospital setting, an elementary school and a partial hospitalization program. Working in a variety of settings has provided her with a broad range of experience working with various diagnoses and backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

Tracy understands that no single approach is the right one for everyone. Her approach is person centered, using a range of modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Wellness Recovery Action Plan, and Play Therapy. Tracy is invested in continuing her training and expanding her knowledge base in order to provide her clients with the most up to date and effective treatment.

Life can be challenging and stressful at times. Tracy’s goal is to assist individuals, couples and families in a journey of self-understanding and healing. Tracy’s therapeutic approach is supportive, collaborative, and integrative. She has experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds who are suffering from many different challenges including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, and psychotic disorders.
