Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Infant Mental Health Clinical Mentor (IMH-E®) with more than 25 years of experience supporting children, adults, parents, and families. I earned my Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and have dedicated my career to helping people heal from difficult experiences, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change.

I specialize in working with caregivers and parents of infants and young children who want to better understand their child's development, strengthen their relationship, or address behavioral, developmental, or attachment concerns. I also work with adults who are navigating the lasting effects of childhood trauma, difficult family relationships, insecure attachment, anxiety, life transitions, and parenting challenges.

My approach to therapy

Holding onto hope while you're on the journey toward healing is one of the most important parts of my role as your therapist. I believe healing begins with understanding, not judgment. My approach is grounded in attachment, developmental science, and trauma-informed care. Together, we'll explore how your early experiences, relationships, and life events have shaped how you think, feel, and respond today.

I believe our minds and bodies adapt to what we've experienced. Many patterns that once helped us cope or survive made sense at the time, even if they no longer serve us today. Therapy offers a space to understand those patterns with compassion and create new ways of responding.

Our work is collaborative and tailored to your goals. I strive to create a warm, reflective environment where you feel heard, respected, and gently challenged when appropriate. Together, we'll build on your strengths and resilience as we work toward meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. I'll spend time learning about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together. I'll also ask about important relationships, significant life experiences, and other parts of your story that help me understand the bigger picture—not just the symptoms you're experiencing.

You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together, we'll identify your strengths, discuss what healing could look like for you, and begin developing a plan that feels meaningful and achievable. Many clients leave their first session with a greater sense of understanding, hope, and a clearer direction for moving forward.
