Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Tracy. I am so glad you are considering therapy - it truly can be a life changing endeavor - especially when you come into it with curiosity and a willingness to tell the truth of your story. It’s a brave step, and here there is space and compassion for whatever you carrying. Whether you’re navigating depression, anxiety, family dynamics, or life changes, I believe every part of yourself is worthy of being known and heard and I aim to create a safe and empathetic space to do this work.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, we will give attention to the mind, body and soul: exploring thought patterns and beliefs (bringing the unconscious to consciousness), physical heath and wellness (recognizing the role of exercise, nutrition and environmental factors on mental health), and spirituality/spiritual practice (based your own faith/spiritual beliefs). My approach is holistic and creative with a focus on the here-and-now.

What you can expect from me

In your initial intake, we will discuss and assess current symptoms, strengths, and your goals for therapy. We will see behaviors and symptoms as arrows that guide us to explore the roots of challenges like depression and anxiety. Through trauma-informed and evidenced-based practices, you will grow in awareness of your own thoughts, feelings and body sensations, leading to widening your ‘window of tolerance’ and improving your relationship with yourself and others.
