Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I truly value creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and not judged. I understand that seeking support can be a vulnerable step, and I approach our work together with compassion, patience, and honesty.

I see therapy as a collaborative process—we’ll work at your pace, explore what’s most important to you, and build on your strengths. My role is to listen deeply, ask meaningful questions, and help you make sense of what you’re experiencing while offering practical tools and insights along the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care is centered around creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I believe that healing and growth happen through genuine connection, and I strive to build a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel seen, heard, and understood.

Using evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness exercises, strengths-based work, and trauma-informed care, I customize my approach for each patient. This enables me to meet you where you are and modify our work to fit your specific needs, goals and pace.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really about starting a conversation. We’ll talk about what’s been going on in your life, what led you to seek therapy, and what you’re hoping to get out of it. There’s no pressure to share everything right away — we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I’ll ask some questions to help me understand your background, but just as importantly, I want you to get a feel for how I work and whether this space feels like a good fit for you. Think of it as a two-way process — your comfort matters.

By the end of our first session, we’ll start to clarify what your goals might look like and how we can begin working toward them together. My aim is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and a little more grounded about the journey ahead.
