Great to meet you!

Tricia Passeri, LPC/LCMHC

With many years of clinical experience, Tricia specializes in helping individuals navigate grief, bereavement, and end-of-life issues, alongside anxiety and depression. She brings a compassionate, grounded presence to her work, drawing on both clinical expertise and a deep respect for the resilience of the human spirit during life's most difficult transitions.

Tricia has particular expertise supporting clients through the loss of a loved one, anticipatory grief, terminal diagnoses, and the complex emotional landscape that surrounds end-of-life care — whether they are facing their own mortality or supporting a family member through theirs. She also works extensively with clients experiencing anxiety and depression, helping them build practical coping skills while addressing the deeper patterns that keep them stuck.

My approach to therapy

Her therapeutic approach is warm and collaborative, meeting each client where they are rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method. She believes that grief and loss are not problems to be solved but experiences to be witnessed and moved through, and she creates a space where clients feel safe to process difficult emotions without judgment or rush.

She is trained in Complicated Grief Treatment, CBT, ACT, Behavioral Activation, Solution Focused and Problem Solving Therapies.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We'll talk through your current concerns, relevant history, and what you're hoping to get out of our work together. There's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with — we'll go at your pace and we can begin outlining a plan that feels right for you.
