I am Trina Cornelison, first and foremost a human being, just like you, who has had to find my way through the difficulties of life. I have had the privilege of helping clients along their healing journeys for over 15 years. I am a licensed therapist in South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida. I support adults through life's challenges with a trauma-informed, mind-body approach
I offer a holistic, person centered approach that combines traditional talk therapy with mind-body interventions. When we understand the way our nervous system works and have tools to come back to regulation, we have more agency over how we think, feel and behave. I am an interpersonal therapist who is very integrative in my approach and may utilizes other modalities such as CBT, IFS, and body-based interventions.
In our first session, we will get to know each other. I like to gather a robust history to get a full picture of you and your experiences, but we will not rush through this. It will take time. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation for healing so building this foundation is very important to me!
