Great to meet you!

Life can be unpredictable. At times, we all need additional support as we navigate relationships, identity, loss, self-image, life transitions, and careers (to name just a few). I believe healing happens in the context of connection and my role as your therapist is to provide you with a safe, trusting, and respectful environment. It is from this place that we can explore your unique story, build on your strengths, and develop strategies to enhance your personal growth and well-being.

I have over 5 years of experience as a psychotherapist and more than 15 years working in the community mental health field. I hold an Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. My clinical work focuses on supporting individuals navigating a wide range of concerns including anger management, ADHD, grief/loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and stress management.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual. This means that the goals you identify will guide our work together and influence the specific techniques we may choose to use, such as cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and psychodynamic methods.

What you can expect from me

As we progress, we will continually add coping tools to your "toolbox" and adjust our approach as needed to best support you. These tools may include examining thought patterns, exploring relationship dynamics, or experimenting with new behaviors.
