Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Ty’Kia. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about navigating anxiety, bipolar and depression and the everyday stress that life can bring. I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Savannah State University and have experience working in behavioral health hospitals and domestic violence services. When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy making candles, serving my community, and putting together a good outfit—because a little self-expression and confidence can go a long way.

My approach to therapy

I take a holistic, tailored approach to therapy, focusing on the unique experiences and needs of each client. By understanding your personal story, I aim to guide you toward healing and growth in a way that feels right for you.

I focus on cultivating a safe, welcoming, and comfortable space where you feel supported.

What you can expect from me

When working with me, you can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we focus on what matters most to you. Whether you’re navigating bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, or relationship challenges, we’ll work together to better understand your experiences, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical strategies to help you move forward. My goal is to help you build healthier coping skills, improve communication and relationships, and feel more confident in managing life’s challenges. Most importantly, I want you to leave each session feeling heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change in your life.
