Great to meet you!

Maybe you’ve been the strong one for so long that you’ve forgotten what it feels like to simply exhale. You show up for your career, family, relationships, and the people who depend on you—but somewhere along the way, you may have lost pieces of yourself.

At The Well House Collective, therapy is more than a place to talk about what’s wrong. It is a space to pause, restore, and reconnect with yourself—a place to begin coming home to you.

I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C) in Maryland and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the District of Columbia, as well as the owner and founder of The Well House Collective. I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, burnout, and the emotional weight of being the person everyone else depends on.

My experience in mental health, human services, leadership, advocacy, and 17 years of federal service has deepened my understanding of resilience, transition, responsibility, and what it means to carry demanding roles while navigating life outside of them.

At The Well House Collective, I believe healing can be restorative—an opportunity to replenish what life has depleted, establish healthier boundaries, and rediscover parts of yourself that may have gotten lost while surviving, achieving, caregiving, or simply holding everything together.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. You don’t need to know exactly what to say or even where to begin. Sometimes the first step is recognizing that you’re ready for something to feel different.

You’ve spent enough time pouring into everything and everyone around you. Perhaps, it’s time to pour some of that care back into yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore what you are experiencing, gain insight, and develop the tools needed to create meaningful change.

I use an integrative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based interventions based on your individual needs and goals.

I also recognize that healing is about more than managing symptoms. Sometimes it means understanding patterns, setting healthier boundaries, processing difficult experiences, rebuilding confidence, navigating transitions, or learning how to stop carrying everything for everyone else.

Therapy with me is not about judgment or telling you how to live your life. We will work together to identify what is no longer serving you, recognize the strengths you already possess, and create practical strategies that support the life you want to build.

Ultimately, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to yourself—because sometimes healing is about finding your way back home to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know you—not rushing you to tell your entire story. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been weighing on you, and what you hope will feel different as a result of our work together.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, relationships, and current concerns, but you are always in control of what you choose to share. We’ll begin identifying your goals and discuss what therapy can look like moving forward.

Most importantly, I want you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful that you have a safe space to begin doing the work—at your own pace.
