Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m a therapist who helps people navigate the pressures, transitions, and emotional challenges that show up across different seasons of life. Whether you’re feeling weighed down by anxiety or depression, carrying the effects of past experiences, or simply feeling overwhelmed by daily stress, I offer a thoughtful, structured, and supportive approach to help you regain clarity and momentum.

My clinical background includes training in fast-paced, high-expectation environments where providing effective, evidence-based care was essential. I completed my graduate training with a strong academic foundation and a rigorous clinical internship focused on delivering high-quality mental health treatment. In my work, I draw from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based skills to help clients better understand their patterns, build practical coping tools, and move toward meaningful change.

All of my experience as a clinician was gained while serving on active duty in the U.S. Army, including work as a Behavioral Health Officer in a high-stress operational setting. While this gave me a deep understanding of performance pressure, burnout, and work-life balance, my approach is not limited to military-specific concerns. The skills I developed translate naturally to working with civilians navigating demanding careers, relationship challenges, and the emotional toll of modern life. Above all, I strive to create a space that feels approachable, collaborative, and grounded—where you can feel comfortable being yourself while doing meaningful work.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in working with clients navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma. Our initial sessions will be a collaborative space to understand your specific challenges and develop a tailored treatment plan designed to help you reclaim your life. This plan will always incorporate evidence-based treatment modalities, ensuring you receive the highest quality of care.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we will focus on creating a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. Our primary goal is for us to get to know each other, explore what brings you to therapy, and begin building a strong collaborative partnership.

Together, we will:

  • Identify your specific challenges and how they currently impact your daily life.
  • Establish meaningful, personalized goals, such as developing new coping skills, managing distress, or processing past trauma.
  • Draft an initial plan of action that incorporates evidence-based tools tailored to your unique needs.

By the end of our first meeting, my aim is for you to leave with a clear understanding of our path forward and a sense of hope and direction for your healing journey.
