Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Tyler. I work with adults navigating complex trauma, dissociation, and gender-affirming care — especially folks who've spent years holding it all together and are ready to stop performing that for a while. If therapy has felt clinical, rushed, or like you had to translate yourself to be understood, you're not alone in that. As a transmasc therapist using he/they pronouns, I know this work from both sides of the room. I'm committed to a space where all the parts of you — the ones that kept you safe and the ones you're still getting to know — are welcome.

My approach to therapy

My work is collaborative, parts-aware, and paced for the person in front of me. I draw on IFS to help you get to know your inner system without judgment, EMDR for stuck memories, clinical hypnosis for change your thinking mind can't force, and gender-affirming assessment work when that's part of your path. We move at your pace — I adjust the tools to fit you, not the other way around.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy is a big thing, especially if you've been burned before or waited a long time to try again. Our first session is mostly about getting to know each other — what brought you in, what you're carrying, and what you'd like this work to move toward. I like to think of our time together as a road trip: you're the driver, choosing the direction and the topics that matter. I'm the passenger with a road map, offering knowledge and experience along the way. When we come to a crossroads, I may have a skill, question, or insight to offer, but you decide the course. I'd be glad to walk alongside you.
