Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about helping people feel supported, understood, and empowered through life’s challenges and transitions. I have experience working with children, teens, young adults, and families in settings including crisis shelters, substance use recovery programs, community mental health, and private practice. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of New Hampshire and my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Plymouth State University. I especially enjoy supporting clients through major life transitions, including pregnancy and the postpartum period, and strive to create a warm, collaborative space where clients feel safe being themselves.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in authenticity. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while feeling supported and challenged in meaningful ways. I enjoy incorporating humor into sessions when appropriate and believe laughter can be an important part of healing. My style is also solution-focused, helping clients build on their strengths, develop practical tools, and work toward meaningful goals.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment during their first session. Our time together is focused on getting to know you — what’s bringing you to therapy, the challenges you’re facing, and the goals you hope to work toward. I also understand that starting therapy can feel uncomfortable or overwhelming, so I move at a pace that feels comfortable and collaborative. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the work we can do together.
