Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. My name is Dr. Valencia Campbell-Chapin, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CADC-II), Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S), and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP). I am passionate about helping individuals, families, children, adolescents, and professionals navigate life's challenges while building resilience, confidence, and emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

I believe that every person deserves a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they can explore their experiences, discover their strengths, and create meaningful change. My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.

With extensive experience in mental health, addiction recovery, family systems, and trauma-informed care, I have dedicated my career to supporting clients through life's most difficult transitions. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, relationship concerns, life stressors, and personal growth challenges.

As a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, I specialize in working with children and adolescents using developmentally appropriate therapeutic approaches that help young people express emotions, process experiences, and build healthy coping skills. My work also extends to supporting parents and caregivers as they strengthen family relationships and create nurturing home environments.

As a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) and Addiction Counselor, I assist individuals navigating substance use concerns and Department of Transportation (DOT) return-to-duty processes. My experience in addiction counseling allows me to provide comprehensive support for those seeking recovery and long-term wellness.

What you can expect from me

I work collaboratively with clients to identify goals, develop practical coping strategies, and create lasting change that supports emotional, mental, and relational well-being.

My Commitment to Clients

Seeking support is a courageous step. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, family challenges, or simply seeking personal growth, I am committed to walking alongside you with empathy, respect, and professional guidance.

Together, we can work toward healing, resilience, and creating a healthier, more fulfilling future.
