Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults and older adults navigating stress, life transitions, anxiety, and aging-related challenges. My goal is to provide a supportive and collaborative space where clients feel heard and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

My approach is holistic and strengths-based. I integrate evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy with a focus on overall wellness, including the connection between mental health, lifestyle, and physical activity. I have a strong interest in supporting clients in building healthy routines, improving emotional resilience, and enhancing both mental and physical well-being. I have earned my MSW degree from Howard University.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I focus on helping clients feel comfortable, understood, and empowered to work through challenges at their own pace. I use practical, evidence-based techniques to help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, and build confidence in managing life’s difficulties.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll start by discussing what brought you to therapy and what you hope to work toward. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, current stressors, and overall well-being. I take a holistic approach, so we may also talk about lifestyle factors such as routines, stress levels, and wellness habits.

The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and see if my approach feels like a good fit for you. My goal is to create a supportive and respectful environment where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together, we will begin identifying goals and the steps that can help you move forward.
