Great to meet you!

I've been a therapist for almost 2 decades, but one thing has remained consistent throughout my career: I don't believe people are broken. I believe we're shaped by our experiences, relationships, environments, and the messages we've learned about ourselves over time. Often, the ways we've learned to think, cope, or protect ourselves once served a purpose. When those patterns begin causing pain or no longer fit the life we want, people start looking for answers. That's where therapy can help.

I believe people are capable of meaningful change. My role isn't to tell you who you should become, but to help you better understand yourself, recognize patterns that may no longer serve you, and develop new ways of responding that align with the life you want to build.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a collaborative process. My role isn't to tell you how to live your life—it's to help you better understand yourself, recognize patterns that may no longer be serving you, and develop practical strategies that support the life you want to create.

We'll spend time exploring your experiences because history is an important chapter of your story, but it isn't the whole story. While insight is valuable, I believe lasting change happens when insight is paired with intentional action. Every client is different, so I tailor therapy to your goals, strengths, and individual needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

What you can expect from me

You don't need to prepare anything or have everything figured out before your first session. Our first meeting is simply an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, review your history, discuss what's currently happening in your life, and identify the goals that are most important to you.

My hope is that you'll leave your first session feeling heard, with a better understanding of where we'd like to focus our work together and what the next steps will look like. Therapy is a process, and we'll move at a pace that feels both productive and appropriate for your needs.
