Great to meet you!

I am a queer-identified African American cisgender woman. My pronouns are she/her. I hold a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling degree. I have over 12 years of experience effectively treating mental health and substance abuse concerns in LGBTQIA2S+ persons (sex positive; kink affirming), BIPOC and other PGM folx, and femme-identified persons.

My approach to therapy

I provide Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to individual clients. For clients struggling with suicidality, I utilize Brief Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Suicide Prevention (BCBT-SP) and Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS). I use the Gottman Method for counseling couples and polycules.

What you can expect from me

My therapeutic mantra is, "Strengthening emotional connection, one part at a time." My goal is for us to collaborate in building the life that you desire. I believe it is important to create an environment that feels like a therapeutic oasis in the desert of societal expectations, unspoken rules, and emotional voids.
