Great to meet you!

I work with clients looking for ways to manage anxiety and depression. Often my clients discuss feeling overwhelmed by family/relational stressors, work pressures, or general life worries.

I have worked in mental health for over 15 years providing support and services for many clients during that time in multiple settings. I received an undergraduate degree at Spelman College and a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University and have been a licensed practitioner since 2013.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be fun. There will be hard moments but growth and self discovery are meant to be a journey that provides a deeper, more meaningful life and, ultimately, more joy. I believe this journey, though challenging at times, can also be quite enjoyable.

I provide a safe, comfortable space for therapy and use multiple therapeutic techniques to help clients identify goals, shift perspectives, and improve their lives.

What you can expect from me

Our first session together will allow us to get to know each other. You can share your reasons for starting therapy and what you hope to get out of the time and we will work together to establish goals and a direction for your therapy.
