Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Dr. Vaughn Miller, a licensed clinical psychologist based in the DMV (D.C., Maryland, and Virginia). I earned my Psy.D. at Regent University and an M.A. in Special Education. For more than three years I have helped adults, teens, and couples navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, faith-related concerns, and the unique challenges faced by neurodiverse individuals. Clients describe my style as warm, empowering, and firmly grounded in evidence-based practice.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Therapy with me is a genuine partnership. We clarify your goals, select proven tools like CBT and Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and tailor them to your story, including strategies that support ADHD, autism spectrum differences, and other neurodiverse needs. Sessions balance a relation oriented open dialogue with targeted skill practice so you always know what to apply between visits. When desired, faith based perspectives can be woven in while respecting every worldview.

What you can expect from our first session

You will leave each session with a clear action plan and a better grasp of what drives your distress. Over time many clients report steadier moods, stronger relationships, and increased confidence. Expect a calm, welcoming space where you feel supported, appropriately challenged, and never judged.
