Great to meet you!
Veronica Clark, LCSW, LCASA
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Substance Abuse Associate with more than 25 years of experience in social work, behavioral health, clinical practice, and leadership. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from East Carolina University and Master of Social Work (MSW) from Fordham University.
As a Clinical Director, I support person-centered care through treatment planning, clinical coordination, collaboration, and accountability. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, suicidal ideation, self-harming behaviors, emotional dysregulation, and family conflict.
My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed strategies. I help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, practice mindfulness, improve communication, and develop healthier coping skills. I also incorporate practical exercises and between-session assignments to help clients apply what they learn in everyday life.
I believe effective therapy begins with compassion, respect, and a genuine partnership. My goal is to create a nonjudgmental space where each person feels heard and empowered. I am dedicated to helping individuals and families build resilience, strengthen relationships, make meaningful changes, and restore hope.
