Great to meet you!

My mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment where individuals of all ages can grow, heal, and achieve personal, academic, and professional success. I am committed to helping clients identify their strengths, overcome challenges, and develop the skills needed to live healthy, meaningful, and fulfilling lives.

My counseling approach is both educational and therapeutic, helping clients become more goal-oriented while gaining a deeper understanding of themselves, their experiences, and the factors that influence their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through collaboration and evidence-based interventions, we work together to create lasting positive change.

I earned a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2017 and am credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC #17133), National Certified Counselor (NCC #817300), and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCASA #29759A). With more than eight years of experience, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing emotional, behavioral, social, and substance use concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

I utilize an eclectic, evidence-based approach tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. Counseling begins with a comprehensive assessment, followed by the collaborative development of a treatment plan. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective counseling and strive to create a supportive environment where clients can explore challenges, build resilience, and achieve personal growth.

What you can expect from me

When appropriate, diagnosis is approached collaboratively and serves as a tool for treatment planning and, when necessary, insurance reimbursement. I do not prescribe medication but can provide referrals for psychiatric or medical evaluation when indicated.

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of counseling. Information shared during treatment remains private except when disclosure is required by law, necessary to protect safety, authorized by the client, or needed during a medical emergency. I am committed to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards while supporting you on your journey toward healing and wellness.
