Great to meet you!

My ideal client is one who is invested in the therapy process as I am and motivated to work in and out of session. My ideal client is ready to try new things and willing to look deeply inside. When these elements are in place, therapy tends to progress nicely.

I received my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University in Keene, NH. I am an active member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. I am an intuitive clinician that enjoys working with adults in individual, group and family settings.

My interests include, EMDR, treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, ADHD, relationships, loss, and substance abuse. I have been working in the mental health field for the past 30 + years.

I adopt rescued, traumatized cats, to help them overcome their fears and learn to trust and bond to live their best lives.

My approach to therapy

“My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client. I specialize in working with adults and couples experiencing anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and life transitions. I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed therapy to help clients build coping skills and improve resilience. Clients often describe me as approachable, compassionate, and down to earth. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard while also learning strategies to create lasting change.”

What you can expect from me

“In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where we’ll begin by talking about what brings you in and what you hope to get from therapy. I’ll ask some questions to get to know your background, strengths, and current challenges. Together, we’ll outline your goals and begin shaping a plan that feels right for you. Many clients find that even the first conversation provides relief simply by being heard and understood.”
