Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with more than 18 years of experience in the mental health field. I am passionate about helping adults overcome the obstacles that keep them from living their happiest, most fulfilled lives. I specialize in helping clients struggling with life transitions, relationship difficulties, women’s issues, maternal mental health and addictions/codependency issues.

My approach to therapy

I operate using a person-centric approach. My preferred therapeutic process and techniques are rooted in both psychodynamic and cognitive/behavioral models. However, I am fully aware that there is no one size fits all approach in counseling, and I will willingly utilize an eclectic style to meet my client’s needs. I work with clients to bring meaning and understanding to how their thoughts, beliefs and life experiences impact their actions and related outcomes.

What you can expect from me

My biggest strengths are my willingness to understand my clients by listening intently to their story. I want to understand their world view and to help them to develop insight and new positive tools that will make them feel better about themselves and move forward in their lives.
