Great to meet you!

I provide compassionate, trauma-informed, culturally responsive therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing life transitions, emotional challenges, relationship concerns, trauma, stress, behavioral difficulties, and other challenges that can impact daily life.

My approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and relationship-focused. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel comfortable being their authentic selves and when their experiences, culture, relationships, strengths, and individual goals are honored.

Together, we can explore patterns and experiences that may be affecting your emotional well-being, develop healthier coping and communication skills, strengthen relationships, improve emotional regulation, and build greater self-awareness and confidence.

I use evidence-informed approaches while recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. My goal is to meet each client where they are, build on their existing strengths, and provide practical tools and support that can create meaningful and lasting change.

Therapy isn't about “fixing” who you are. It is about creating space to understand yourself, process what you've experienced, strengthen your relationships, and develop the tools you need to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and relationship-centered. I believe that feeling safe, respected, and genuinely understood is an important part of the therapeutic process. I meet clients where they are without judgment and work alongside them rather than simply telling them what they should do.

I use a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, helping clients understand how their experiences may have shaped the way they think, feel, relate to others, and respond to challenges. I focus on building self-awareness while also providing practical tools for emotional regulation, coping, communication, problem-solving, and healthier relationships.

My areas of focus include trauma and life experiences, anxiety and stress, emotional regulation, relationship and family concerns, parenting, behavioral challenges, life transitions, self-esteem, and personal growth. I also have a particular interest in supporting children, adolescents, and families and understanding behavior within the context of relationships and the environments in which people live.

I recognize that every client is different, so I tailor therapy to each person's needs, strengths, culture, experiences, and goals. My goal is to create a space where clients can be honest and authentic, make sense of what they have experienced, recognize their strengths, and develop the insight and skills needed to create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being honest, vulnerable, and authentically themselves. I want clients to feel heard and respected while knowing that therapy is a space where they can explore difficult experiences without fear of judgment.

Together, we identify meaningful goals based on what each client wants to change or better understand. Goals may include improving emotional regulation and coping skills, building self-esteem and confidence, strengthening communication and relationships, processing difficult or traumatic experiences, developing healthier boundaries, improving family dynamics, managing stress and anxiety, and navigating life transitions.

I also focus on helping clients recognize their existing strengths and build on them. I want clients to leave therapy with greater self-awareness, practical tools they can use in everyday life, healthier ways of responding to challenges, and a stronger sense of confidence in themselves and their ability to move forward.

Ultimately, I hope clients experience therapy as a collaborative relationship where they feel supported, empowered, and understood, not “fixed.”
