Vicki Hart

My name is Vicki. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), management consultant & executive coach. I understand that facing life's challenges can be tough & having a partner in making change is often critical to our well-being & success. This partnership is the focus of my work with clients.

I began my career in the Neuropsychology Department at Baylor College of Medicine where I conducted cognitive tests for patients with memory impairments. Over the next 20 years, I held progressively responsible clinical & management positions in medical research centers, hospital & community settings, working with individuals & families.

My clients consistently comment that I am a great listener. I've learned that we all need to be heard & validated. My commitment to you is to be present, open & accepting of you & your experience.

I have seen that real change comes from tying goals to desired outcomes. I am here to help you assess where you are now, where you want to go & how to get there.

My approach depends on you. I will bring my training, skills, tools & experience to explore your concerns, struggles & goals. Through listening, questions, skill-building & reflection, I will help you to see possibilities & take action to reach your goals.

When we first meet, we will both want to get to know one another. You will have the opportunity to talk about why you are coming to therapy & what is happening in your life right now. We will begin to explore your current challenges & areas for potential change, leading us toward developing a plan to help you move forward.
