Great to meet you!

With more than 25 years of experience, I am passionate about helping adults navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. I believe that healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship, and I work collaboratively with each client to build on their strengths and create meaningful, lasting change. My training includes a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from La Salle University, certifications in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Traumatic Stress Disorders, and Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as advanced trauma training under the direction of Dr. Bessel van der Kolk. My approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual.

My approach to therapy

I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from La Salle University and hold certifications in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Traumatic Stress Disorders, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Marriage and Family Therapy. I completed my certification in Traumatic Stress Disorders through the Justice Resource Institute in Boston, where I trained under the direction of Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, a leading expert in the field of trauma.

Throughout my career, I have specialized in understanding the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) on the developing brain and the lifelong connection between early trauma and both physical and mental health. This work has shaped my trauma-informed approach to treatment and deepened my commitment to helping clients understand the roots of their struggles while building resilience and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

A warm inviting client centered environment, where I spend time with the client collecting life history, identify symptoms that are impacting their life, and we work together to establish goals of treatment.
