Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Victor. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor working with New Mexicans for the past 11 years, 9 of which independently. I have a Master's degree in Counseling from the University of New Mexico.

I have spent a sizeable amount of time working in jails and prisons across the state providing routine and emergency mental health assistance and supervising mental health programs within those facilities. These institutions provided a wealth of experience and knowledge.

These days, I prefer working with those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, gender dysphoria, and LGBTQIAA related experiences. I work with individuals across the spectrum with whom find me a good fit.

My approach to therapy

I am a huge believer in "What we think defines our experience." We can choose what to think by using our words, spoken or thought, with deliberation.

Further, I like to empower individuals with my words chosen carefully bringing an experience of support and feeling heard.

What you can expect from me

On our first session, I'd like to spend time getting to know you, your current challenges, and how you ideally see your future, most specifically what you are looking to accomplish with therapy.
