Great to meet you!

I go by Vicky! I have been doing therapy since 2014 and became a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in 2017. Becoming a therapist has been a lifelong journey and I truly believe it is my calling in life. There is no higher privilege or honor than to be able to hold space for people looking to heal from their wounds, and I hold the highest respect for every client who seeks treatment. I believe that each person holds their own answers to their healing journey and my role is to be a loving guide and companion along the way. No matter what you're coming in for, we can and will get you relief and return you to the best version of yourself.

My approach to therapy

I take a very client-centered approach to therapy and put you in the driver's seat. I understand that each person’s journey is unique, and I work collaboratively with you to tailor a treatment plan that meets your needs. Learning trauma-informed techniques has taught me that whatever you are going through and struggling with makes sense when put into the right perspective. You make sense and are not crazy. It's my job to help you understand yourself better and help you become the person you want to be.

What you can expect from me

I bring a warm, empathetic, and when appropriate, humorous approach to therapy and offer a nonjudgmental space where you can express yourself freely. Our first session together will be gathering as much information about you and your history as you're comfortable sharing and establishing our initial treatment goals. I believe educating people on the "how" and "why" of our psyche is key to meeting therapeutic goals, so I will probably slip in some education, as needed. (Hopefully I won't bore you!)

I understand therapy is a transformative process and no two people's journeys look the same. I would be honored to walk alongside you on that journey.
