Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with additional certifications in family and acute care medicine, and more than nine years of experience as a nurse practitioner. My diverse clinical background allows me to take a whole-person approach to mental health care—understanding that our physical health, emotional wellbeing, and life experiences are all deeply connected.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, mood disorders, and major life transitions. I believe that feeling truly heard is the foundation of healing, so I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable, respected, and understood. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you and develop a personalized plan that supports your overall wellbeing and long-term mental health.

Outside of my work, I enjoy spending meaningful time with my family, reading and continuing to learn—especially in areas related to health and personal growth—and engaging in wellness practices that support reflection, balance, and staying active.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and patient-centered. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support and guide you with clinical expertise while we work toward meaningful change together.

I take time to understand each client’s story, the challenges they’re facing, and the factors contributing to their stress or symptoms. Treatment may include medication management when appropriate, along with supportive therapeutic strategies such as cognitive and behavioral techniques, lifestyle adjustments, and practical tools for managing stress and emotions. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and equipped to build lasting emotional balance and resilience.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental conversation focused on understanding what brings you in and what you hope to gain from care. We’ll talk through your current concerns, symptoms, and goals, and I’ll review your medical and mental health history to get a full picture of your needs.

From there, we’ll begin creating a personalized treatment plan together. This may include medication management, supportive therapeutic strategies, and lifestyle approaches that align with your goals. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path forward.
