Great to meet you!

I believe everyone deserves to experience the joy and peace that comes from healing. If you're feeling stuck in darkness, weighed down by past experiences, or caught in negative thought patterns, you're not alone—and you don't have to navigate it by yourself.

For more than 34 years, I've helped individuals, primarily women, heal from trauma, build self-esteem, and create meaningful, lasting change. I have advanced training in EMDR and specialize in helping clients process traumatic experiences so they can move forward with greater confidence and emotional freedom.

My approach is holistic, recognizing the connection between your mind, body, and emotions. Together, we'll create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to reach your therapy goals. My hope is to help you move beyond simply surviving so you can fully experience the joy, fulfillment, and life you deserve.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, empowering, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and holistic approaches to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while creating lasting change.

Whether you're healing from trauma, struggling with negative thought patterns, navigating relationship challenges, or working to overcome binge eating or low self-esteem, I'll meet you where you are with compassion and without judgment. Together, we'll identify what's keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that help you move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and hope.

I believe therapy is more than addressing symptoms—it's about helping you reconnect with yourself and create a life that feels authentic, balanced, and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is helping you feel safe, heard, and supported. We'll spend time getting to know one another, talking about what has brought you to therapy, and exploring the challenges you're facing as well as the goals you'd like to achieve.

There is no pressure to share everything all at once. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My hope is that you'll leave our first session feeling affirmed, understood, and hopeful, with the confidence that we can work together toward meaningful healing and lasting change.
