Great to meet you!

I am a Board Certified PMHNP, with experience working with adults and adolescents with varied psychiatric disorders including, but not limited to ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, personality disorders, Alcohol use disorders, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorders to name a few. I also enjoy working with the older adult/geriatric population with disorders that include, but are not limited to Major Neurocognitive disorders, Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia

My approach to therapy

I believe in a humanistic philosophy of holistic care for both mind and body, and an abiding

commitment to individualized, personalized, comprehensive care for patients, as well as collaborative treatment. Being a Nigerian American, I bring diverse experiences and the opportunity to relate to both a wide range of diverse and different cultures when treating patients. I pride myself in helping people get the help which they so deserve in terms of medication management and psychotherapy.

What you can expect from me

I use a complete approach to patient care, with emphasis on providing psychoeducation to patients and their families on the mind-body connection. I encourage patients to be active advocates and participants in their treatment planning and care, including the use of complementary and natural therapies. I am a strong proponent of optimizing outcomes through the concurrent use of therapy and mindfulness training in addition to pharmacological and other treatments.
