Great to meet you!

I want my clients to know that they don't have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and genuine space where they can show up exactly as they are. I believe therapy works best when you feel understood, accepted, and empowered to move at a pace that feels right for you.

I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in community mental health, trauma-informed care, and private practice. I primarily work with teens (16+) and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and self-esteem concerns.

As an Asian American therapist, I understand the importance of feeling seen and understood within the context of your culture, relationships, and life experiences. Whether you're navigating overwhelming emotions, processing past experiences, or trying to figure out your next step, we'll work together to build insight, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative approach to treatment, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and EMDR-informed interventions, while tailoring therapy to each client's unique needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is for you to feel comfortable, heard, and understood. We will take time to get to know each other, discuss what brought you to therapy, and explore what you hope to gain from the process. I’ll ask questions about your current challenges, your background, your strengths, and the experiences that have shaped you.

The first session is also a chance for you to learn more about my approach and ask any questions you may have. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals for therapy and creating a plan that feels supportive and personalized to you. You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming in, therapy is a space where we can start wherever you are and work from there.
