Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a Marriage & Family Therapist, licensed in OR and CA, and have a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology. I work with adults, offering holistic psychotherapy with an accepting, calm, and compassionate approach. Many of my clients are busy people with multifaceted lives, dealing with anxiety, trauma, life transitions, depression, grief/loss, and relationship concerns. Other clients reach out due to work or career worries, creative blocks, spiritual matters, or for personal growth. I work from a holistic standpoint, which means I meet you where you are and consider the whole of you. I'll incorporate tools and interventions to best help you succeed, and suggest homework to practice between sessions. Trained from a Jungian perspective, I might also incorporate dream work, symbolism and synchronicity if appropriate. Ultimately though, I will support you and listen deeply so you feel seen & heard, and build confidence that you can transform through your current struggle.

My approach to therapy

I am committed to empowering clients, and encourage practicing tools and skills learned between appointments so you feel ownership in your progress and healing. I focus on your successes to counter all-too-often critical thinking that can cause discouragement. I'll review our progress so you can see your growth and stay motivated to keep moving toward your goals - and sometimes that goal can be as simple as expressing yourself and being heard. Clients describe their time in session with me as a safe space to explore, heal, process and grow.

What you can expect from me

Therapy sessions with me might include integrating talk therapy like cognitive behavioral and solution focused techniques with alternative healing methods such as mind-body skills, energy psychology tools (EFT or tapping, TAT) brain science and spiritual /soul exploration. Using this whole-person approach, you gain deeper insight into the root cause of your current challenge which motivates you to use what you've learned to transform your life. Clients report relief sometimes after a few sessions.
