Great to meet you!

I have a master's degree from the University of South Carolina and 25-plus years of experience working in the fields of mental health, adoption, crisis intervention, foster care, education, and hospice. I am a fur parent to a tuxedo cat named Jaspurrr.

I am a member of the LBGTQIA+ family, a divorcee, and an empty nester with two adult sons and a sweet, new baby granddaughter. I also love to travel.

My approach to therapy

I want you to feel affirmed in your lifestyle and being. I specialize in providing therapy services to the LGBTQIA+ community, their allies, both traditional couples and non traditional relationships, and people of color. I want you to feel empowered, and I will use cognitive behavioral techniques and education to teach you better ways to manage day-to-day stress/anxiety. I strive to create a safe space for you to simply be and heal as you embark on your unique journey of growth and discovery.

What you can expect from me

When you are ready to put in some real work on discovering you, please feel free to join my caseload. Best of luck to you on your therapy journey and I hope to see you in session soon!
