Vonetta Thompson

I am a Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a very diverse professional background. I have worked in inpatient, outpatient, forensic, and military settings within private and government agencies. I have worked with high functioning adults and adolescents, the severely mentally ill, service members and their families and persons involved in domestic violence incidents. I am considered a specialist in conducting individual assessments as well as educational, group, and couple's therapy. Some of the treatment approaches I have used are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused therapy, Patient Center therapy, Integrative Behavioral Health, Motivational interviewing, Behavioral Modification and psychotherapeutic interventions.

I have a plethora of experience working with multi-systems and employing team treatment approaches to patient/client care. I also have experience administering, scoring and interpreting psychological tests. Experience as an intensive outpatient therapist (IOP) for individuals and groups.

I have over 10 years' experience working with military families and wounded warriors in various settings. Licensed Clinical Social Worker in three states and a Board Certified Clinician. Working as a teletherapist with individuals that have medical issues affecting their mental health.
