Great to meet you!
I’m Vyvian, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience across community mental health, juvenile justice, child and family systems, and outpatient therapy. I’m dedicated to providing a supportive and grounded space where individuals, families, and couples can explore their experiences and work toward their personal goals. My background also includes service in the United States Navy as a Master‐at‐Arms, which has strengthened my understanding of resilience, structure, and the diverse stressors people face in different stages of life.
I earned my Master of Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University and have worked with clients of all ages navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, behavioral challenges, relationship stress, and life transitions. My clinical work includes conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and using standardized tools such as the PHQ‐9, GAD‐7, C‐SSRS, and PTSD screeners to help inform treatment planning.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and tailored to each person’s needs. I draw from evidence‐based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution‐Focused approaches, and mindfulness‐based interventions. I also incorporate a strengths‐based and trauma‐informed perspective to support clients in building insight, developing coping skills, and navigating challenges in ways that feel meaningful to them.
As a bilingual Vietnamese provider, I value culturally responsive and inclusive care. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, your family, or your relationship, my goal is to offer a safe and respectful environment where you feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the therapeutic process.
