Great to meet you!

Clients should know that my approach is warm, collaborative, and whole-person centered. I believe mental wellness is deeply connected to brain chemistry, physical health, hormones, stress, life experiences, and each person’s unique biology. Because of this, I take time to understand the full picture—not just the symptoms you are experiencing.

I am dual board-certified as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with over 15 years of healthcare experience. This background allows me to bridge the gap between medical care and mental health treatment in a thoughtful and comprehensive way.

I provide neurodiversity-affirming, personalized psychiatric care and medication management for youth ages 10 and older, women, and men. I treat a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood changes, stress-related symptoms, and life transitions. I also have a special interest in the connections between adult ADHD, PMDD and hormonal shifts, maternal mental health, and high-functioning anxiety.

My goal is for clients to feel heard, respected, and never rushed or dismissed. Together, we will look beyond the surface, connect the dots, and create a treatment plan that supports clarity, balance, focus, and long-term wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is warm, supportive, and personalized. I believe mental health is connected to many parts of life, including stress, sleep, physical health, hormones, relationships, and past experiences. I take time to understand the whole person, not just the symptoms.

I want clients to feel heard, respected, and comfortable asking questions. My goal is to create a safe space where we can work together to understand what is going on and find a treatment plan that fits your needs.

When medication is helpful, I use a thoughtful and collaborative approach. I explain options clearly, monitor progress, and make adjustments when needed. My goal is to help you feel more balanced, focused, and like yourself again.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space. We will talk about what brought you in, what symptoms you have been experiencing, and what you hope to get out of care.

I will ask questions about your mental health history, medical history, current medications, sleep, stress, relationships, and any important life experiences that may be affecting how you feel. The goal is to understand the full picture, not rush through your story.

We will also talk about treatment options, including whether medication may be helpful. I will explain things clearly, answer your questions, and work with you to create a plan that feels comfortable and realistic. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and clear about the next steps.
