Great to meet you!

I'm Wayne, an LCSW with 15+ years of experience across a wide range of settings — schools, community health, and private practice. I trained at East Carolina University and Shaw University. My approach is warm and direct. I'll listen closely, challenge you when it helps, and adjust to what you actually need — not what the textbook says you should.

My approach to therapy

Something's been off — maybe for a while. The anxiety that won't quiet down, the focus that keeps slipping, the moments when you lose your patience with the people you love most and then feel terrible about it. Or maybe you're carrying something older and heavier than that. Whatever brought you here, you're not broken — you're dealing with something real, and you don't have to keep navigating it alone. I work with adults, adolescents, and families across the full range of what life throws: anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship strain, parenting struggles, life transitions, and LGBTQ+ affirming care.

What you can expect from me

I offer both in-person sessions in Charlotte and telehealth across North Carolina, and I accept most major insurance plans. Ready to take the first step? Click my website link to schedule a free consultation directly — no forms, no waitlist runaround. I'd be glad to connect.
