Great to meet you!

I am Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) trained in medication management and individual therapy. I approach my work caring about the whole person and not simply treating diagnoses. I am aided by knowledge gained from my education: Bachelor's of Science in Sociology, Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, and Master's of Science in Nursing. I also draw from my 11 year career as a registered nurse in intensive care units and my 3 years as a Nurse Practitioner, working at an outpatient clinic as well as an inpatient crisis unit.

My approach to therapy

How can I help? Being a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) is a humbling role where I get to come alongside others to hear some of their story and see where I may help relieve symptoms of depression, anxiety, anger, stress and trouble focusing. I am thankful to have training in medication management and individual therapy, both effective tools that I have personally seen make a great difference and improvement in the lives of others. I am currently accepting new clients and would love to hear from you and help you find solutions to better your life.

What you can expect from me

The goal of our first session is for me to learn about you, the main reason you are seeking help, and make a plan together for how to improve your life. My goal is that you come away from your first session feeling encouraged and educated about medication and mental health, and hopeful for your future.
