Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Whitney, a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting teens and adults. I provide a warm, judgment-free space where you can talk openly and feel understood. I help with anxiety, depression, life stress, trauma, and substance use, focusing on practical tools that fit your everyday life. My approach is down-to-earth, supportive, and centered on your strengths. If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d love to connect with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and practical. I focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself while we work through challenges together. I use a strengths-based approach and incorporate tools from evidence-based practices to help you build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a relaxed, welcoming space where we take time to get to know each other. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in, your goals, and any important background, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once, we go at your pace. Together, we’ll start identifying what you’d like to get out of therapy and outline some initial goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and more comfortable about the process moving forward.
