Great to meet you!

Great to meet you — I’m Wil Ureña, LICSW. I’m the founder of Forge and Hour Therapy, a practice focused on providing a grounded, intentional space for people navigating life transitions, stress, identity shifts, and relationship challenges.

I’m licensed in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Maine, and I work with adults from diverse backgrounds. I have particular experience supporting men, veterans, and neurodivergent individuals, as well as young adults and parents who carry a lot of responsibility and often don’t have space to slow down and process what they’re experiencing.

At Forge and Hour Therapy, I aim to offer a welcoming, non-judgmental space where you can show up as you are, feel heard, and take intentional steps forward. Whether you’re working through past experiences, managing stress, navigating relationships, or trying to better understand yourself, we’ll work together in a way that feels respectful, supportive, and practical.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative, & flexible. I draw from EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques, while always tailoring our work to your goals and pace. Therapy with me isn’t about forcing change but rather it’s about creating clarity, building resilience, and developing tools that fit your real life.

What you can expect from me

At Forge and Hour Therapy, I aim to offer a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are, feel heard, and take intentional steps forward. Whether you’re working through past experiences, managing stress, navigating relationships, or trying to better understand yourself, we’ll work together in a way that feels respectful, supportive, and practical.
