I have been working in Human Service settings since 1983. I have worked with diverse populations in the areas of SUD, Trauma, Court Ordered Forensic Sexual Abuse Evaluations, Emergency Psychiatric Evaluations, Parental Risk Assessment, Utilization Review, Spousal/Partner Abuse (in court ordered groups for adjudicated Male perpetrators of Domestic Violence), Anger Management, Child Protection, CRA formerly CHINS, and Private Practice. I have Telehealth availability. My Post graduate work has all been in Massachusetts - in the Greater Boston Metropolitan Area. I was trained by clinicians who were influenced by Self-Psychology - Object relations, Heinz Kohut, and Erik Erikson. Currently I read, amongst others, Bessel Van Der Kolk, Judith Herman for Trauma and Gabor Maté for Trauma/SUD, Carl Hart for Harm Reduction, I am certified in EMDR and value concepts from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems
