Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed professional counselor with a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. I work with adults navigating relationship difficulties, anxiety, stress, life transitions, trauma, and questions of meaning or faith. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I want therapy to be a place where you feel understood while also being challenged to better understand yourself, your relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

My approach to therapy

I take a practical, relationship-focused approach to therapy. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused approaches. Together, we’ll look at both what is happening now and the deeper patterns behind it, then identify realistic steps toward the relationships, decisions, and life you want.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for me to understand what brings you to therapy, what has been happening in your life, and what you would like to be different. I’ll ask questions about your concerns, relationships, history, strengths, and goals. We’ll also talk about what you want from therapy and begin developing a plan together. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet.
