I have Masters in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I have a very person-centered laid-back approach. I believe the client is in control of their own treatment and recovery. I treat adults who suffer from substance use disorders.
I am just here to help them learn new tools or discover the strengths they forgot they had due to their addiction through proven evidenced-based therapy. I try to cultivate a therapeutic relationship, so the client feels safe and open to discussing the issues that are causing dysfunction in their lives.
They should feel impowered and come away with a stronger belief in themselves and their ability to change their lives.
