Great to meet you!

Willow Nichole Wilde MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master's in social work from Boise State University. She specializes in helping families understand the dying and grieving process and offers a multidimensional therapy approach. Willow is an interactive, person-first therapist who tailors her approach to each client's needs, aiming to assist them in healing, improving relationships, and reaching their goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered, compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe therapy works best when clients feel heard, respected, and understood rather than judged or told what they “should” be doing. I meet clients where they are and work with them to understand not only what they are struggling with, but also why their brain, emotions, nervous system, and behaviors may be responding the way they are.

What you can expect from me

My style combines validation with practical skill-building. Sessions may include talking through current concerns, identifying patterns, learning about the brain and nervous system, practicing coping or communication skills, exploring boundaries and relationships, and developing realistic strategies that fit the client’s actual life. I frequently incorporate CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, behavioral activation, psychoeducation, trauma-informed approaches, and elements of ACT and ERP when appropriate.
