Great to meet you!

I decided in college that I wanted to work with people to enhance their quality of life. Social work became my avenue to becoming a therapist. I have worked in many areas with adults struggling with mental health and substance use problems. I have worked as both a clinician and leader in the field of mental health; in each role, I have always provided therapy.

My approach to therapy

My primary approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I help by creating a supportive, confidential space where you can explore the emotional toll of these challenges. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I guide you in identifying patterns of thinking that contribute to distress, and help you develop practical strategies to reduce anxiety, improve mood, and regain a sense of agency in your life.

What you can expect from me

Therapy can be hard work. Clients consistently feel that they have been heard and validated by me, even when I then may challenge them to consider an alternative perspective.
