Great to meet you!

My path into psychiatry is both professional and personal. I moved to the U.S. alone at 17 while navigating complex PTSD and periods of misdiagnosis, which shaped how I understand mental health today. I began with a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Nankai University, then trained as a nurse and nurse practitioner at Charles R. Drew University and Purdue University.

Over the past 7 years, I’ve worked across medical and mental health settings, developing an approach that balances clinical precision with individualized care. I specialize in anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and complex PTSD, particularly for individuals who feel stuck or haven’t found relief in traditional treatment.

I’m licensed in California, Virginia, New York, Washington, and Oregon, and provide care via telehealth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is direct, thoughtful, and solution-focused. I practice integrative psychiatry, combining medication management with psychotherapy and a broader understanding of how your nervous system, lifestyle, and past experiences interact.

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP). Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we look at underlying patterns to create a treatment plan that is both effective and sustainable. Medication is used intentionally—when helpful, not automatically.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is focused on understanding you—not just your symptoms, but your history, patterns, and what has or hasn’t worked in the past. I ask thoughtful, targeted questions to get a clear picture while keeping the space structured and efficient.

You can expect a direct yet supportive environment where we begin identifying key patterns and outlining next steps. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of what’s going on and a personalized plan to move forward.
