Great to meet you!

My name is YaShica Maxwell, and I work with adults and couples who are carrying a lot while trying to keep life moving forward. Many of the people I see are managing stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, past experiences, and daily responsibilities all at once, often feeling overwhelmed, emotionally tired, or unsure how to create lasting change.

I help by creating a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, speak openly, and better understand what you are experiencing. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative, focusing on the whole person rather than just one issue.

My approach to therapy

I help you develop practical tools that support healing, emotional balance, and healthier relationships. Therapy moves at a pace that feels comfortable while still helping you make meaningful progress.

In our first few sessions, you can expect a relaxed, conversational process in which we discuss what brings you to therapy, review key parts of your history, and clarify goals for our work together.

What you can expect from me

You do not need to have everything figured out. My role is to help you feel heard, supported, and guided as we begin creating a path forward.

What makes my practice unique is a steady, grounded approach that balances empathy with gentle guidance. I am passionate about this work because I believe people deserve a space where they can feel understood while learning how to move through life with greater clarity, confidence, and calm.

If you are ready to begin, I invite you to reach out and take the next step.
