Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker-Clinical (LMSW-C) dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood. I earned my Master of Social Work from Wayne State University and have experience working primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults. As my practice grows, I look forward to expanding my work with adults across the lifespan.

I have experience supporting clients through a wide range of concerns, including trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, and interpersonal relationship challenges. I believe every person has a unique story, and I strive to meet each client with compassion, respect, and genuine curiosity. My goal is to help you build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, traveling, and taking on DIY home improvement projects. These hobbies help me stay grounded and remind me of the importance of patience, growth, and balance—values I strive to bring into my work as a therapist.

My approach to therapy

I know reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as you are, feel genuinely heard, and be supported as we work together toward the changes that matter most to you.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, authenticity, and mutual respect. Together, we'll explore your experiences, identify your strengths, and work toward goals that are meaningful to you. I strive to meet each client where they are, recognizing that healing and growth look different for everyone.

Because there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, I tailor each session to your unique needs and preferences. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, Crisis Intervention, and other therapeutic techniques as appropriate. Whether you're working through trauma, managing anxiety or depression, navigating a life transition, or building healthier relationships, we'll work together to develop practical tools that support lasting growth and resilience.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you and creating a space where you feel comfortable and supported. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, your personal history, your strengths, and the goals you hope to achieve. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, learn about my approach, and determine whether we're a good fit.

There is no pressure to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while working together to develop a plan that aligns with your needs and goals. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of the path we'll take together
