Yvonne Swann

Ms. Yvonne Swann is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Integrative Psychiatric Provider licensed in Maryland. Her credentials allow her to diagnose psychiatric conditions, provide psychotherapy, and prescribe medications to individuals across the lifespan. She holds a MSN from Walden University, completed a Fellowship in Integrative Psychiatry through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute, and has a BA in History from Loyola University in Maryland.

Ms. Swann practices an integrative, holistic approach to psychiatric care - one where psychotropic medication may be an option, but consideration is given to the client's physical and nutritional status, resilience skills, and personal goals in order to optimize emotional well-being. Specialty training in Integrative Psychiatry also allows her to offer evidence-informed, non-pharmacological interventions tailored to the client's situation and personal path to recovery and wellness.

She views the client-clinician relationship as a partnership, making sure clients feel seen, heard, and understood. She is passionate about supporting clients find and practice ways to align their thoughts, behaviors, and actions with their personal values. It is Ms. Swann's priority to help client's discover their ability to create a life of meaningful experiences, fulfilling relationships, and emotional wellness.
